BikesEtc Issue 4

About This Project

BikesEtc February 2015 (issue 4)

For this shoot I headed to Brecon, the meeting point for the start of the 70km route and testing of three £750 sportive bikes for BikesEtc. This was to be a circular route taking in some of the amazing roads and views in the area, including the Epynt. Famously known for its military training grounds,  this land was purchased during World War II as a place to test artillery and for troop training. Traces of the past can still be seen, including the old farm houses and the Drovers Arms.

With this in mind I was looking forward to including these building and stunning views into my images. How ever the weather was not going to help me in any way. With low cloud and a dull grey light, I knew my work was going to be cut out. It was to be a day of pushing my camera to its limits and trying to make the images as interesting as I could.
